Fake eggs found in E China

A fake boiled egg was discovered by a resident in Yantai, East China's Shandong province, Jan 9, 2012. The egg was made by industrial chemicals and food additives, according to Dong Jinshi, an expert at the State Supervision and Inspection Center for environmentally-friendly products. Dong said an artificial egg costs less than 0.1 yuan ($0.016), while a real egg costs about 0.5 yuan.
